ZEVENET Activation Certificate

This section shows the details of the Activation Certificate of ZEVENET Enterprise Edition. In the first section, you will see the credentials required by ZEVENET team to generate the Activation Certificate. Notice that certificates are linked with the hostname.

Certificate Key. It is an encrypted string generated by your system. If the certificate is generated with another certificate Key, this will not be valid for your system.
Hostname. It is the unique nickname that is given to your load balancer. It should be unique in your organization.

You can copy both values with the double paper button.

The next section shows the content of the activation certificate as follows:

The Validity section indicates:

Not Before. Date and time when the certificate was issued.
Not After. The date and time when the certificate expires. If it is equal to, or more than 1 year, a warning will appear. Less than 1 year is considered a temporary activation certificate and the appliance will stop after this date and time.
Subject. The content shows the following fields:

  • O. An organization that the activation certificate has been issued to.
  • OU / 1.2.3.4.5.8. Key generated by the appliance instance and used in activation certificate.
  • CN. Load balancer hostname as registered by the requester.
  • emailAddress. The email of the requester.

The following two actions are available:

Upload Certificate. Used to create a new activation certificate (temporary and definitive ones). Once this option is selected, a Select file option will be available where you can select a certificate from the local PC to be uploaded to the load balancer. Click on Upload to activate the new certificate.

Delete Certificate. Unset and remove the activate certificate from the appliance.

In case you need an evaluation certificate, please fill in the necessary details in the Request Evaluation Form.
