Notifications::Alerts

This section is used for client notifications, Zen Load Balancer v4.2 is able to inform to customer through email if a backend is detected as DOWN or UP. If cluster is configured this service can alert customer when cluster service switches, in a near future more alerts will be included.

Backend Notifications. This section is used for configuring the Backend notifications, when a Backend is detected as DOWN or UP an e-mail will be sent with information related with this action.

Enable Backend notifications: This checkbox enables or disables the notifications of this alerts.

Desciption: Informational message.

Prefix Subject: It allows to configure a prefix subject in all emails are sent by the system for this kind of alert.

Avoid Flaping: Sometimes backends are enabled or disabled in a short period of time, this field allow to configure a period of time to avoid the backend status notifications, once this period of time concludes, the backend status changes will be informed once. if the backend status changes in this period of time, then notifications are not sent.

Cluster Notifications. This section is used for configuring the cluster notifications, when an cluster event is detected in the Cluster service an e-mail will be sent with information related with this event captured.

Enable Backend notifications: This checkbox enables or disables the notifications of this alerts.

Note: In case customer is working with a cluster service, this configuration has to be done in both cluster nodes.
